It all started with a sewing machine from Facebook Marketplace and a box of monks cloth in 2021. A buddy of mine asked for some help trying to sew some robes for their first submission to the 501st. Being a novice seamstress like I was, monks cloth should not have been a first project. But I wanted to help my friend, and as difficult as the stringy natural fabric was, 8 hours later we had a full robe! Years later I continued to practice and sew, and now I'm a full time costume designer working with different textiles and unique materials.
